EU import: modification of the GSP beneficiary countries list
CUSTOMS
On 31/01/2018, the European Commission published in the EU OJ an update of the list of beneficiary countries of the Generalised Preferences System (GSP) on 1 January 2019.
The scheme of generalised tariff preferences the EU allows certain third countries to benefit from reductions or exemptions from customs duties on imports into the Community.
Countries no longer benefiting from GSP tariff preferences from 01/01/2019 :
- Paraguay (withdrawn from the list of beneficiary countries of the general scheme and the list of GSP+ beneficiary countries)

Ivory Coast, Swaziland and Ghana.
As a reminder, these countries benefit from tariff preferences under the Market Access Regulation (RAM).
Countries no longer benefiting from GSP tariff preferences from 01/01/2021 :
- Equatorial Guinea (withdrawn from the list of LDC GSP and GSP beneficiary countries)
