LDecision of 13 March 2020 on derogations from hydro-alcoholic products for industrialistshas been updated by adopted on 17 April 2020
Two main changes:
- Obligation to indicate on the label the concentration of active substance in the final product: end of tolerance by 31 May ;
- Extension of the derogation period until 1 September.
The Ministry of Health is exploring the possibility ofapply these changes also for pharmacists, which are specifically concerned by the Decree of 23 March 2020, prescribing the measures to organise and operate the health system necessary to deal with the epidemic of covid-19 in the context of the state of emergency health.
The Directorate-General for Risk Prevention has posted a FAQ fordetails of the tolerances granted to products complying with the formulae derogating from the decree of 13 March, and the obligations that apply to others.
Attention
Standard safety data sheets have been prepared by IINERIS for the 4 formulations authorised by derogation from the amended Order of 13 March(models available on request).
They are to be completed by the producers according to the formulations and components chosen.
