WCO: Publication of reconciliation tables between SH 2017 and 2022
The World Customs Organization (WCO) has just published the reconciliation tables between the next update of the Harmonised System (HS) of 2022 and the last one in 2017.
1 January 2022, the Update of the WCO of the Harmonized Customs Tariff will be implemented. It turns out to be important because it will impact many customs chapters. Explanatory notes to sections, chapters and customs headings will also be updated.
In order to facilitate its integration and user understanding, the WCO has put online on its website tables of concordance between the 2017 edition, applicable until 31 December 2021 and the next edition of 2022.
These concordance tables concern the harmonized nomenclature made up of: First 6 digits of the TARIC code.
They were published as a guide only. They have no legal status and, they cannot be regarded as classification decisions taken by the Harmonized System Committee. It should also be noted that these tables could be modified.
