EORI number (EU): deployment of the SOPRANO EORI teleprocedure

The SOPRANO teleprocedure for granting EORI numbers is deployed in France as of 5 March 2018.

The opening of SOPRANO to the treatment of applications for EORI numbers The aim is to offer the possibility of filing an EORI number application in a completely dematerialised manner.

Teleprocedure allows Registration of economic operators established in the customs territory of the Union (TDU) as provided for in Article 9 of the Union Customs Code (CDU).

The third-party economic operators wishing to carry out commercial transactions requiring an EORI number may also, through representatives or agents established on the TDU, file applications for registration and be granted an EORI number.

SOPRANO-EORI allows the user to file, modify, review and review an application in progress, and fine, know the EORI number assigned to it.

RECALL

The Economic Operator Registration and Identification number is required for import and export formalities (excluding the European Union).
