The Official Bulletin of Customs clarifies the subject of customs guarantees
In order to be able to issue customs declarations in Delta I/E, launched a few days ago, it is necessary to update its customs guarantees no longer via the national tool butvia the CDS Community Tool.
Two administrative notes have just been published by the customs on the subject, allowing finally to find the essential information to put in place the new guarantees called « Guarantees relating to debts arising », previously appointed « Removal credits » and « Guarantees relating to debts that may arise », and more formerly known as « Other operations ».
Note 24069 refers to customs clearance guarantees.
Note 24070 refers to the modalities for monitoring the reference amount for debts that may arise out of transit, since the monitoring will have to be managed by enterprises rather than by customs, as has been the case so far.
