Export: ATA notebook digitizes

Today formulated in paper format, the ATA notebook is expected to digitize in the coming months...

The very first eATA book, a muneric version of the ATA notebook, was created and successfully tested by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in November 2019.

This temporary admission documentwhich authorizes Export and movement of goods without duties and taxes For a year, the paper form has been filled in: a tedious approach that should be largely relaxed with the dematerialization of the form.

Initiated in 2018 by CCI, this digitalisation project called Mercury Pilot Project is actively supported by theDirectorate-General Taxation and Customs Union European Union.

Over the next six months, this project will enter a trial phase with 6 participating pilot countries:

  1. Belgium
  2. China
  3. Russia
  4. Switzerland
  5. United Kingdom
  6. United States
