EMEBI: publication of the reference note for fiscal year 2024

Thereference notefor the reply to the Monthly Survey of Intra-EU Trade in Goods (EMEBI), concerning financial year 2024, was published on 10 January 2024.

The evolution of the regulation on the subject is limited to the following two points:

  • Chapter I – Section 2 (page 8): mention of the exclusion of goods delivered free of charge to charitable and philanthropic organizations from the statistical survey response and the exclusion of goods delivered to installations on the high seas.
  • Chapter IV – Section 8 (page 41): clarification of the value from which a declaration should be corrected if necessary.

This new reference note should be taken into account for the declaration to beIssued early Februaryfor the January 2024 financial year.
