BREXIT: commissioning of the latest version of the logistics envelope

The new version of the logistics envelope, which allows you to enter the ENS (Entry Summary Declaration) report number for import flows, is now operational!

It is now possible to use the new logistics envelope functionality! Initially scheduled for October 10 (cf. BREXIT: Evolution of the logistics envelope for import flowsThis development, which had been postponed, has been available since 7 November, as announced by a note from the Directorate-General for Customs and Indirect Rights (DGDDI) to operators.

This option allows to integrate into the logistics envelopes For import flow from the United Kingdom to the European Union only, the references of the entry summary declarations (ENS) attached to the transport unit with which the logistic envelope is paired. In fact, a field is reserved for entering the ENS number.

In addition to saving time, the aim of this new system is to secure the SI Brexit-ICS process when goods enter the Community customs territory.
