Strike in French ports on 9 and 10 December 2024

A 48-hour strike in all French ports is scheduled for December 9 and 10. Disturbations to be anticipated!

Suffered in June after the dissolution of the National Assembly (cf.Strike in French ports: the movement is suspended until September), the strike movement in the French ports reborn from its ashes. It was the government's announcement that the recognition of asbestos risk and early retirement arrangements would not be among the negotiable subjects, which has rekindled tensions. To this has been added a proposal for an annual wage increase of 1.1% by the Union nationale des industries de la manage dans les portes français (UNIM) considered insufficient by the trade unions.

They therefore called forstrike in all the ports of Hexagon on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 December 2024. Disturbations, and even additional costs, may lead to the peak of end-of-year holidays.
