Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2019 : France is downgraded !
Transparency International has published its 2019 CPI Report.
- More than two-thirds of countries score below 50 on a scale of 100.
- 22 countries improved their score (including Estonia, Greece, Guyana and Italy), but 21 were downgraded in the meantime.
- Most advanced economies who implemented a strong legal environment do not reach their commitment level :
- Canada and France step back 4 points
- UK -3 points
- USA -2 points
FCPA, UKBA and Loi Sapin 2 generate high expectations from the civil society, still to be honored.
