Since its entry into force in 2005, the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Agreement has continued to evolve to facilitate trade between the signatory countries.

The European Commission has introduced transitional rules to make the possibilities of cumulation of origin within the Pan-Euromed area more accessible (cf.Paneuromed area: update of transitional origin rules). 

Yesterday, Wednesday 13 December 2023, the Commission transmitted the update of the matrices:

• addition of countries that validated provisional rules of origin between March and December 2023,
• Simplified overview of the possibilities of cumulation of origin between the parts of the Agreement.
