Rail transport: a new transport system suspended from testing

New in the transport of goods on rail: a Belarusian company has developed an innovative transport system that can transport freight containers automatically at speeds of up to 150 km/h.
Suspended a few meters above ground, this new generation railway could carry250 million tonnes of freight per year According to its designers.
A recently signed order by the United Arab Emirates for the construction of a first section should enable the system to be tested on a large scale, and help the company find investors to finance a project with all the variables still to be refined...
