In-bond transfer: the transit document (T1) passes under special procedure

For the moment, the transit documents are managed in a tool called NSTI (New Informatized Transit System), set up a decade ago to dematerialize the management of T1.
The new European Union Customs Code (CDU), which entered into force on 1 May 2016, states that transit constitutes a special regime the same as an ex-economic scheme (cf. International atmosphere of October 2015).
However, transit remains specific since it is not necessary to hold a customs authorisation for use, and that it is not subject to wear material accounts.
It is in this logic that the transit documents will gradually integrate DELT@-Tduring a transitional period when both operating systems will coexist.
It is intended that the transit documents issued in format « DTI » directly through the portal « PRODUCED » be included as a priority in DELT@-T. Then, in a second step, will switch the transit documents issued in format « EDI » (indirectly in the portal « PRODUCED »).
All NSTI conventions will be denounced and nOven Conventions DELT@-T will be issued by the customs administration no later than early November.
CAUTION!
Depending on the fact that transit documents are now a special regime,it will no longer be possible to start unloading the means of transport before obtaining « the person released at destination »transits as is currently the case.
Unloading will therefore be possible only after the transit tickets have been switched « BAE released at destination« inDELT@-Tlike a customs declaration.
