Simplification of the movement of goods in the EU: consultation of the European Commission

From9 October to 16 January 2019, the European Commission organises a consultationto provide stakeholders involved in the cross-border movement of goods with the opportunity to express their views on all elements covered by the impact assessment:

• problem definition and respective root factors/causes;
• the question of subsidiarity and the added value of intervention at EU level;
• Preliminary options for measurements / sets of measurements;
• likely impacts of each option.

Qualitative information (opinions, views, perceptions, suggestions) and quantitative information (data, statistics) will be sought from stakeholders.
