According to the report*violations of human rights Rights of Workers have never been so important in seven years (date of the first edition). The trend observed is a breakdown of the social contract between workers, governments and employers.

The main restrictions on workers' rights include:

• collective bargaining 80% of countries have violated this right;
• the right to strike 85% of the countries were flouted;
• training of trade unions In 74% of countries, workers cannot form or join a trade union.

Worse, in51 out of 144 countries, dviolence against workers who want to defend their rights has been observed. In 72% of countries, workers do not have access to justice.

Unsurprisingly, these are countries in conflict zones in North Africa and theMiddle East which form the regionsthe most regressive in the world for the representation of workers and respect for trade union rights.

Individually, the 10 countries where workers' rights are least respected according to the report are Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Honduras, India, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Turkey and Zimbabwe.
