Why REACH worries international companies?
Because REACH is based on a premise: any industrial, importer or commercial operator must master and know its manufacturing processes, and be able to inform about the substances used in its products... and this is not the case!
Industrial or industrial enterprises can quickly apply REACH and fulfil their reporting obligations to the EU.
In contrast, trading or importing firms are in great difficulty in two ways: they do not master the manufacturing process, and supply mainly outside the EU's borders as part of a variable sourcing strategy, in response to global circumstances.
For these companies, REACH is a true journey of the fighter whose strategic stakes are vital and cross-cutting :
