REACH EU: new restrictions for the textile sector – clothing

The simplified procedure for restricting 33 substances of concern used in textile and clothing articles (clothing, footwear, accessories, etc.) was officially endorsed by the European Commission on 10/10/2018.

The European Commission has proposed limiting consumer exposure to 33 chemicalscarcinogenic, mutagenic or reproductively toxic (CMR)by placing restrictions on the market in clothing, textile articles and footwear.
