REACH: plan for inspections of substances in articles

REACH

A REACH control campaign is planned from October 2017 to June 2018 on article manufacturers, importers or distributors and compliance with their notification and communication obligations throughout the supply chain.

This action is launched under pressure from NGOs and the observation of very low reporting rates* To date.
In the priority target, electrical products, construction materials and interior articles and a short list of substances with proven toxicity.

* RECALL: A notification must be made to ECHA by any manufacturer/importer and/or distributor of articles containing SVHCs on the candidate list to more than 0.1% / part of item ET more than 1 T/year.
