EUDR: new training sessions on the Information System
Since 6 November, operators have been able to register on the TRACES-NT platform in order to submit their due diligence statement. The European Commission has developed several tools to enable companies to become familiar with the new schemes.
From December 2025 onwards,European Regulation against Forest Deforestation and Degradation (EURD)will be implemented. The undertakings concerned will have to comply with their obligations, in particular by filing theirReasoned due diligence statementin order to be able to import into the European Union or export products covered by this Regulation from the Community market.
To support them in this process, and building on its experience with the MACF, the European Commission has set up a number of accompanying arrangements for companies. Since 6 November,user manual in Englishis available. The Commission also organises regularEnglish training sessionson the use of the new platform for recording due diligence declarations.
Two waves of training have already been conducted, and a third was proposed on 27 January, with remote sessions scheduled between 3 and 27 February 2025. Thefull calendartraining courses are available on the Commission's website; places are still available for certain slots.
