Approved Economic Operator (OAS)

Why has OAS accreditation become a must?

oea logoIn response to the US anti-terrorism programme C-TPAT, the European Union created the status of Registered Economic Operator (OAS) in order to grant customs flexibilities and operational facilities to companies capable of justifying the securing their import and export procedures.

A status that confers many advantages, both internationally and in Europe, notably for the implementation of the Import Control System (ICS) and the Export Control System (ECS).

Not being certified as an OAS is already a handicap for European companies who want to access American, Japanese and Chinese markets... and very soon all other SAFE countries will be involved in the same process!

The status of approved Economic Operator represents a strategic competitive advantage ACTE International has been the promoter for several years through its evaluation, advisory, training and technical support services.
