Mathieu Fourcade, Director ACTE International Maroc, states that given the « the political context of the beginning of the year, the ranking of Morocco in the Doing Business 2018 can be considered satisfactory. The latter rewards the structuring projects carried out by several public administrations and private sector actors. This score reflects the Kingdom's ability to maintain the course even in times of unfavourable political conditions« .

Nevertheless, according to him, « laThe strength of its foundations must not hide the reality of its field where many construction sites must be taken in charge in order to boost the competitiveness and growth of enterprises (payment delays, VAT refunds, access to vocational training, fight against the informal economy). The main guidelines for foreign trade must also be clarified and better negotiated to give strength to Moroccan exportable supply.« .
