MACF: new customs note to report your imports in 2026

CUSTOMS

On 12 December last, customs issued a note to operators detailing the specific provisions to be indicated on customs declarations as from 1 January 2026 for importers of products targeted by MACF.

As a follow-up to the information provided by DGEC at its last webinar (see our news: https://www.acte-international.com/macf-return-sur-le-webinaire-dgec-du-11-december-2025/), the Customs confirms the procedure for filling import declarations in its note of 12 December 2025.

Indeed, as a reminder, all importers of products targeted by MACF regulations will have to specify their situation at the time of the declaration of import into the DELTA I system in order to obtain the release of the goods.

You can find the relevant customs nomenclatures in theAnnex I to Regulation 2023/956 and details of the specific provisions to be indicated in the declarations on the note to the operators.
