Incoterms®: new version in preparation for 2020

TRANSPORT

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has formed a working group of 8 experts to develop the 2010 version of Incoterms®.

Since the beginning of 2017, the Incoterms® 2010 rulesare being reviewed by a group of experts responsible for consulting international traders (importers/exporters, carriers, insurers, bankers, etc.) to ascertain their position, with two objectives:Main:

Adapt Incoterms® rulesnew technical developments and business practices
Improve their interpretation and facilitate their use by operators.

The 2020 version of Incoterms® should be revealed in the last quarter of 2019, for a entered into force on 1 January 2020.
