Member of Global Compact France since 2013, ACTE International is committed to promoting respect for human rights, the environment and ethics in its area of influence and actively supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Why is ACTE International committed?
Because we have been combining the values of human respect, ethical commitment and shared development in our internal organization and in our sphere of economic influence in the International for over 20 years, our company has been engaged naturally and actively in this global project for a more open, fair and inclusive world.
We strongly believe that, like states, international organizations and civil society, companies have a key role to play in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. ACTE International has identified 10 Goals on which we can have, at our level and with our means, a positive impact that contributes at the global level to achieving these objectives.
In our internal organisation, all employees of the company participate, as part of our project « Boosserre » one or two working groups to move forward on concrete actions in four areas:
- Well-being at work
- Mobility
- Environment / Energy saving / Responsible consumption
- Societal actions
In our area of economic influence, responsible management of the International Supply Chain, we inform, train and support our clients for the deployment of their policies of social and environmental responsibility, responsible purchasing and prevention of corruption worldwide. As a representative in France of the amfori association, we work daily for open and sustainable international trade in order to provide social, environmental and economic benefits to all.
