Documentary Liasse at Export
Documentary Liasse Training at Export: Optimize processing of your documentary chain
Learn how to build, manage and verify essential documentation to secure your international transactions. A practical day to master commercial invoice, certificates of origin, transport documents, customs declaration and dematerialization tools, without any prerequisites. An incomplete, poorly drafted or non-compliant documentary package may be sufficient to block a shipment, trigger customs control or delay payment. Documentary compliance is the first line of defence for any export operation.
In 2026, the export documentation package is subject to increasingly stringent compliance requirements. The digitalisation of customs procedures via DELTA and the GEFI platform, the evolution of preferential trade agreements between the European Union and its partners, and the strengthening of border controls make it essential to have precise control of each document constituting an international shipment.
An incomplete commercial invoice, a poorly drafted certificate of origin or a preferential document (EUR1, ATR) issued without complying with the eligibility conditions may result in refusal of payment, logistical blockages or customs adjustments. These risks affect both regular and occasional exporters.
Our training Build and master the export documentary bundle gives you in a day the method and reflexes to build up compliant files, identify errors before they cost and integrate dematerialization tools into your daily export.

Why is mastering the export documentation essential?

Avoid customs blocking and delays in delivery
A missing document, a false statement on the commercial invoice or a non-compliant certificate of origin can immobilize a goods at the borders for several days, with direct consequences on customer satisfaction and logistical costs.

Securing international payments
In the context of a documentary credit (L/C), only one documentary irregularity is sufficient to result in the bank refusing payment. The compliance of the bundle is therefore a direct financial issue for the exporter.

Use preferred documents correctly
EUR1, EURMED, ATR, declaration of origin on invoice: these documents allow your customer to benefit from reduced customs duties in the country of destination. Issue them without mastering the conditions of use exposes the company to customs adjustments.

Meeting documentary dematerialization requirements
The digitalisation of export formalities via platforms like GEFI transforms the documentary management of companies. Mastering these tools and implementing a compliant electronic archive becomes a legal obligation and an issue of operational efficiency.

Quickly train new export recruits
Without prerequisites, this training is ideal to effectively integrate a new employee into an ADV or export team. In one day, he acquired a complete and operational vision of the documentary channel.

What distinguishes this training on the documentary bundle
Beyond the program, our field-oriented pedagogical approach and our expertise in international flows make a difference for B2B export professionals.
100% focused on export documentation
No digression on Incoterms® or international logistics: this session is entirely dedicated to the constitution, writing and control of export documents. Each educational sequence covers a specific type of document, from commercial invoice to ATA notebook.
Writing workshops in real conditions
Participants do not just analyze examples: they themselves draft an export commercial invoice, prepare a packaging list and practice on the GEFI platform. Each workshop is built around cases close to their operational reality.
Accessible without prerequisites, ideal for beginners
Unlike advanced export training, this session is open to anyone without prior experience. It is the ideal entry point for joining an ADV export team or for any quick and complete documentary upgrades.
Financial and adaptable intra-company
Training is eligible for professional financing schemes (OPCO, CPF). In an intra-company version, practical workshops can be carried out on your own documents and models, for maximum transferability from the day after the training.

Answers to your questions!
What is the difference between this training and the exporter's Level 1 checklist?
This training is entirely dedicated to the documentary export: constitution, writing and document control. It does not address the Incoterms® 2020 in detail, the trade negotiation strategy, nor the export project management. The Level 1 (2-day) Exporting Checklist covers the Incoterms® 2020 in depth AND the documentary bundle, but with less time devoted to documentary writing workshops. If you want an intense focus on export documents in 1 day, this training is more suitable. If you also want to master Incoterms®, choose Level 1.
Is this training really accessible without any export experience?
Yes, absolutely. This training was designed without preconditions: it starts from scratch and explains the role of each document before going into the details of its writing. It is particularly suitable for new employees joining an ADV or export team, for people undergoing conversion to international trade, or for anyone wishing to organize knowledge acquired on the ground informally.
Can training be organised on our own intra-company documents?
Yes, this is precisely one of the advantages of intra-company format. Practical workshops can be done directly on your invoice templates, packaging lists and certificates, which maximizes the applicability of the acquis the next day. The trainer also analyzes specific errors encountered by your teams in their daily operations. Contact us to obtain an intra-price adapted to your workforce and export markets.
What is the ATA book and when should we use it?
The ATA Carnet is an international customs document that allows goods to be exported temporarily without paying customs duties to the country of destination. It is used for international fairs and fairs, commercial demonstrations, professional equipment and samples. The training tells you how to obtain an ATA carnet, which countries accept and how to fill it properly to avoid any problems during customs.
Is the training financially viable?
Yes. Training is eligible for professional funding arrangements, notably through OPCOs and, depending on your situation, the CPF. The International d'ACTE teams can assist you in the identification of the most suitable device for your company as well as in the administrative process of assembling the financing file.
