Companies exporting products previously CE marked to the United Kingdom have one more year to affix the new UKCA marking, except for medical devices (see BREXIT – Export: UKCA compliance marking on 01/01/2021).

The UK authorities decided to extending the transitional period a year to allow more time for companies to comply with these regulations.

Be careful! From 1 January 2023 only UKCA marking will be recognised in the United Kingdom. Even if additional time has been granted by the authorities, it is imperative to obtain information as soon as possible on the new UK requirements.
