Ivory Coast Export: Compliance Verification Program comes into effect
Several times shifted by the Ivorian authorities, the compliance verification programme officially entered its operational phase on 1 July 2019.
In September 2017, the Ivorian government issued a decree to implement a programmeverification of compliance with standardsGoodsbefore boardingto the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.
Its entry into force had been postponed several times (cf. Export Ivory Coast: Postponement of compliance program), to enable the new customs regulations to carry out a pilot phase which ends on 30 June.
Since 1 July, a Certificate of Compliance (CdC) must be submitted during customs clearance in Côte d'Ivoire This regulation concerns most of the products* .
