News for the Carbon Balance: BPI's climate diagnostics are back!
Temporarily suspended at the beginning of the year for budgetary reasons, climate diagnostics for TPEs, SMEs and ETIs have been available again since 15 May. These strategic tools enable companies to assess their environmental impact, structure a transition approach and receive funding to accelerate their transformation. Overview of available devices and opportunities to be seized now.
Excellent news for companies: Bpifrance's climate diagnostic devices are available again. Generally open to companies with fewer than 500 employees, provided that certain eligibility conditions are met, these devices allow operational and strategic support to fully integrate environmental issues into your business.
Six types of diagnostics are proposed:
- The Eco-Flux diag identifies savings on energy, water, raw materials and waste flows.
- The Diag Perf-Immo concerns the energy audit of buildings.
- Diag Adaptation assesses the physical risks associated with climate change to anticipate impacts on activity.
- The Ecodesign diag offers a life cycle analysis of a product or service in order to integrate eco-responsible approaches from the design stage.
- The biodiversity diag allows us to measure the interactions between the company and ecosystems and to define concrete actions to limit its impact.
- Finally the Decarbon-Action diag: a reference tool to structure a low carbon strategy. It measures all of the company's greenhouse gas emissions and builds a reduction plan aligned with climate targets. For 12 days, the cost of this device is 10,000 €, of which 40% are supported by Bpifrance. The remainder for the company is therefore 6 000 €.
The Carbon balance is a relevant tool in combating global warming. It enables the company and its employees to understand the impact of their activity on the environment, identify the main sources of emissions and prioritize actions to be taken. By focusing on the most effective levers, it maximizes the impact of reduction measures.
