DELTA I: heading for DTI and new customs webinar

The transition to the new DELTA I electronic clearance system is continuing, with the latest information from DGDDI released last week.

The new 100% electronic customs clearance system called DELTA I has been open since 26 November 2024 for EDI operators, i.e. through customs-certified providers who provide their customers with a customs clearance solution.

On 25 March, the customs authorities announced in their note to operators No.25000065commissioning of version V1.1 of DELTA I. This update marks the opening of the DTI version, allowing operators working directly on the customs site to access the new system.

The note also recalls the terms of access and the deadline for the transition from the old DELTA G system to DELTA I:from 31 May 2025all operators (importers and customs representatives) mustmaking their import customs declarations in this new computer environment.

Although not all customs functions are yet available on DELTA I, they should be gradually integrated into future versions.

In order to take stock of the progress of the project, Customs is organising awebinar Wednesday 9 April from 11am to 12pm.You can attend by following thisconnection link.
