DELTA Export: the planned deployment schedule is now established
Customs is beginning to communicate on the new version of DELTA Export and the ECS declaration that will become fully dematerialized. The actual exit of goods from Community territory will be processed in a centralised European tool, AES (Automated Export System), to which the French customs will be connected via a development called SDS.
The initial release of DELTA Export/SDS is scheduled for 15 October 2025. From14 December 2025, all export declarations must be issued in the new DELTA version. The new DELTA Export version will be finalized by 31 March 2025 and will beavailable from April, for all tests to be carried out by software managers specialized in EDI interfaces and for operators working in DTI. The certifications of the various operators concerned can then be issued.
During thetransition period, scheduled until the end of May 2026, the former ECS version of the returns may be used to clear, modify and finalize the evidence of tax release of the goods. After this period, the current tool will only be available to view information until the end of December 2026.As of 1 January 2027, the current version of DELTA will no longer be available at all.
