BREXIT: Official survey to identify and compensate SMEs
A survey was launched by ANCT (National Agency for the Cohesion of the Territories) for French SMEs in order todetect enterpriseshaving been directly affected by the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union and beingin a position to justify it.

Based on the results collected, the ANCT will determine which companies are potentially affected and contact them. Financial compensation could be considered.
This survey is being launched as part of the implementation of theAdjustment reserve in Brexit(in English, Brexit Adjustment Reserve – BAR), a European fund ofEUR 5.4 billionto compensate for the negative effects of Brexit, which should be distributed by instalment until 2025. The European Commission had approved in mid-March 2022 a payment of more than EUR 2 billion for 12 Member States, including EUR 581 million for the French regions. Priority is given to regions with a strong commercial dependence on the United Kingdom or whose fisheries sector is heavily affected by the UK withdrawal from the European Union.
