Dual-use goods: the updated product list
European Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/2547 published in OJEU 2024/2547 of 06/11/2024 has, once again, updated the list of products subject to the regulation of Dual Use Goods (DUBs) for export.
Dual Use Property refers to goods originally designed for civilian use but which may be diverted for military purposes. These products are subject to an export licence issued by the Double Use Goods Service (DUSB).
To help companies check whether their products are being impacted, the European Commission has published aBDU-TARIC correlation tablevalid from 8 November to 31 December 2024. This tool makes it possible to check whether the customs nomenclature of a product is concerned. However, the use of this correlation table does not exempt economic operators from consulting the regulations to ensure that the product they wish to export is not subject to an export licence or prepare the necessary formalities, if any.
