ALGERIA: lifting of ban on the import of flavours

As expected in March, the list of products banned from import to Algeria has changed again... and this should not be the last since other products could follow very soon.

The Algerian Ministry of Trade announced on 16 April the lifting of the provisional import suspension on flavourings. This decision has been heavily influenced by the agri-food industry since the introduction of the restriction measure.

The Ministry of Commerce, however, states in its communiqué that these products are free to import on condition that they are fulfilled. bank home ownership procedures payable in this respect.

Therefore, this binding procedure does not appear to be ready to disappear or loosen.
